**This is a level 50 dungeon**
Entertaining dungeon to say the least, purely because TONBERRIES EVERYWHERE!
Before 1st Boss:
Tonberry Stalker:
This huge Tonberry will start out fighting the two treasure hunters that run to the left. Once he kills those he will start following you around the dungeon. They move extremely slow until they get aggro on you, then they rush at you and shank you. Yes. Shank. And it will take most of your health bar. They do not, however go into boss rooms, so it's a "break" essentially.
You have two options, one is to keep chain pulling, and stay ahead of this guy. Another is if you can't keep up with the pulling, you can take a hit from him, and start running back the direction he came, he will eventually leash back and keep walking. It is entirely possible to stay ahead of these stalkers the whole dungeon, you just have to be smart and quick about it.
General Tonberryness:
If you come up to a tonberry from behind, it will not aggro you.. so you will find throughout the dungeon that you can avoid at least ~2 pulls by running around them and through the door.
Keeper of Halidon (1st Boss):
Very straight forward, mostly tank and spank. He will cast an AoE frontal cone ability, that will hit the tank, does some damage and applies a healing debuff, it can be dispelled so do so immediately because it's almost impossible to heal through it. He will also turn and cast another cone AoE, this essentially breathes/pulls you into him until you're in melee range, this does no damage however he will smack you very hard and put the healing debuff on you if you stay in his range long enough. So run away if you get pulled in.
He will also cast ground red circle AoE's at your party members, easy enough to dodge. If you don't it does damage and this ALSO puts the healing debuff on you.
Before 2nd Boss:
There will now be switches to pull throughout the next few rooms to open the next boss area, it's best if the DPS pull these/grab Treasure Coffers AS you are killing the mobs to save time/avoid Tonberry Stalkers.
Giant Bavarois (2nd Boss):
This boss can be a pain if you don't burn the adds down fast enough.
He will single out a target, you will get cross hairs on your character if he does so. Once this happens he will chase them around, shoot a fireball at them, and try to one shot them with a frontal AoE ability. What this means is, you need to run around the room, and not get anywhere close to him. Simple.
However, once he starts spawning adds, they will start pelting you with Paralysis, and Heavy debuffs. This makes it extremely hard to move around if you're targeted by the boss. ON TOP of this, the blue add will also heal him periodically. So, it's best to make sure the adds stack on top of the tank (they do not hit you hard at all) and then AoE them down.
Before Last Boss:
Sneaky Sneaky Tonberry:
The Tonberry Stalker is STILL following you, and these last few pulls are the toughest ones. If you're having trouble with him being too close to your group; once you get to the doorway to the boss room, run INTO the corner on the left; he will not aggro you there, you can kill the adds and you'll never have to see him again (except for in this next boss fight. Ha.)
TONBERRY KING! (Last Boss):
This can be kind of tricky in an unorganized group. The King will spawn little tonberry adds, they will gravitate towards him in the middle of the room. The trick to this, is once you kill an add, the King will develop a stack of Rancor. Every ~20-30 seconds or so, he will use all of his stacks, resetting them, but dealing direct damage to your tank, proportionate to how many stacks he had. Depending on your tank, you probably only want to get 3 stacks at any given time, and NEVER go above 5.. it will almost for certain one shot him/her.
So to counter this have a DPS (preferably ranged) kill one add at a time, until you get to 3-4, wait for him to expel the stacks, then rinse and repeat.
Now you have to worry about the "soft enrage" timer. Once he gets low enough, he will spawn a circle of Tonberry Stalkers (sneaky sneaky) around your group. They will slowly move, inch by inch, towards the King. If they reach your group before you kill him, you will die.. via them all shanking you to death. Once he spawns the stalkers, BURN the boss and ignore the little adds.
